ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION FOR PENSION FIRM –PART TIME
East Bay pension consulting firm, located in Pleasant Hill, seeks a highly motivated, organized, computer literate and independent individual to work in our successful 401(k) plan administration firm.
Your primary duties will include processing loans and distributions from 401(k) and 403(b) plans, assisting participants with account queries via telephone, online and written requests, and supporting administrators with a large variety of tasks required to maintain IRS compliance of plans.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: A strong aptitude for numbers, be extremely detail-oriented, have excellent verbal and written English skills (bilingual in Spanish is a plus), be very people-oriented, enjoy working with a variety of clients and have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.
This position requires employees to work in the office.
- Calculate / Process loans and distributions
- Preparation of Tax Filings: DE6, DE7, DE9, 945, 1099R
- Client / Participant phone calls
- Log/File loans and distributions
- Send loan and distribution paperwork
- Prepare memos, letters, etc.
- QDROs, Hardship requests, projects
Part-time: 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday
All prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete aptitude tests as part of the interview process and pass a background check prior to hire.
