Diedre Mahaney is an Accounting and HR Manager of Pension Dynamics Company LLC.    Prior to joining Pension Dynamics, she spent 16 years working in the Finance and HR fields for construction industry.

Diedre is a graduate of Cal State University, Hayward with a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management. 

Karen Barta is an Investment Services Manager for Pension Dynamics.  She joined Pension Dynamics Company LLC in 2009 as a Marketing Assistant and for the last few years has been providing investment education to participants and advises plan sponsors about the investment options offered in their plans.  She is licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) through the Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses.

Karen is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1979 with a degree in Biology and Medical Technology.

Jan Worswick is a Manager and Plan Consultant at Pension Dynamics Company LLC.  She has 27 years of retirement industry experience, and has consulted on and administered various types of retirement plans throughout her career. In addition to her plan consulting responsibilities, Jan also is in charge of plan document preparation and plan administration support.  Her professional credentials include Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), and she is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Jan is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and has completed a Masters Program in Business and Taxation at California State University - Hayward.

Nicole Fornaci is a Manager/Plan Consultant of Pension Dynamics Company LLC. She has more than 24 years of industry experience, and has designed, installed and administered various types of retirement plans throughout her career. Her professional credentials include Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and she is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Nicole is a graduate of the University of California San Diego with a degree in Economics and Political Science.

Sara Powell is a Manager for the Benefit Department.  She has been working in employee benefits fields for over 15 years, focusing on COBRA, Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Reimbursement Arrangements.  She is an expert at dealing with the compliance aspects of these plans which seems to be ever changing with Health Care Reform. Her professional credentials include Certified in Flexible Compensation (CFC) and COBRA Administration Specialist (CAS).

Melania Budiman is the President of Pension Dynamics Company LLC.  She has more than 30 years of industry experience, and has designed, installed and administered various types of retirement plans throughout her career. Her professional credentials include Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Series 7, 66 and 24.  She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and Women President Organization (WPO).

Melania is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Finance and Golden Gate University with a degree in Master Business Administration, International Business.

Stephen Butler is the Founder & CEO of Pension Dynamics Company LLC. He has worked in the retirement and employee benefits area since the early 1970s and has been credited with some of the earlier Employee Stock Ownership Plans and 401(k) plans installed in Northern California. Within the retirement industry, where he is a popular speaker, Steve Butler is best known as a leading advocate of retirement plans. He has worked with the Department of Labor to assist in establishing guidelines to ensure full disclosure of fees and services to plan sponsors.

He is the author of numerous books on retirement plans including, Roadmap to Retirement Security – How to Build and Conserve Retirement Wealth and The Decision-Maker’s Guide to 401(k) Plans: How to Set Up Cost-Effective Plans in Companies of All Sizes. Since 2001, Steve has written a weekly financial column for the Bay Area News Group newspapers. He is the originator of the “Butler Index”, an index of total costs of 401(k) plans that has been featured in articles in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. He has also co-produced a retirement investment pilot program, which was aired on National Public Television stations throughout the country.

Steve is a graduate of Harvard College and attended the University of California at Berkeley Graduate School of Business Administration.
